How I Got My AI to Stop Forgetting Me and Start Sounding Like Me

Nine fill-in files and six copy-and-paste prompts that tell your AI who you are, how you talk, and what you've already decided. Build it in 7 days, 20 to 30 minutes a day. Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or whatever comes next.

You open a new chat. You explain your business. Again. Who you are, what you sell, who you sell it to, how you like things said.

It writes something back. It sounds like a 25-year-old marketing intern who has never met you. So you rewrite the whole thing yourself.

Tomorrow you open another chat and it's forgotten all of it. You start over. Every single day.

Do the math. A few minutes of re-explaining, times every chat you open in a week, times 52 weeks. That's hours of your year spent introducing yourself to a machine. None of it building anything.

Here's where you are: an AI that forgets you, guesses at you, and sounds like everybody else's.

Here's where you want to be: you open a chat, it already knows who you are, it picks up where you left off, and what it writes sounds like you on a good day.

Here's the truth. That gap isn't the tool. Everybody has the same tools right now. Nobody ever told your AI who you are. So it fills the gap with the average of everybody on the internet.

Why The Usual Fixes Don't Work

Most people think the answer is a better AI. They hop from ChatGPT to Claude to Gemini and back. Same empty setup, every time.

Or they buy a pack of 1,000 prompts. This is where people mess up. A prompt is a work order. It does one job and dies. What's missing is the stuff that sits under every work order: who you are, how you talk, who you serve, and what's already been decided.

Write that down once, keep it current, and every prompt you type gets better.

The Fix: The Two Layers

On every job I ran there were two kinds of paper. The plans, which don't change unless the customer changes something. And the daily log: what got done, what got decided, what went wrong. Your AI needs both.

Layer One, the Handbook. Five master files.

01 Who I Am: your story, beliefs, goals and real proof

02 How I Talk: real samples of your writing and a list of words you never say

03 Who I Serve: your people, in their own words

04 What I Sell: your offers, real prices, and what you never promise

05 How You Work: the rules your AI follows, written like a note to a new hire

Layer Two, the Logbook. Four memory files.

06 Current Status: where things stand right now

07 Decisions Log: what's decided, when, and why

08 Corrections Log: every mistake it made and what right looks like

09 Wins and Proof: real results it can use instead of making things up

No code. No database. No monthly software. Nine files in a folder you own.

Who It's For

You already use AI for real work, or want to, and you're tired of it sounding like a robot

You run a business, a side hustle, or a career where how you sound matters

You've got years of real experience and you're sick of AI flattening it into generic

You'd rather own your setup than rent somebody's software

Who It's Not For

Anybody looking for a push-button shortcut

Anybody who wants a developer course. There's no code in here, on purpose.

Anybody who won't give it 20 minutes a day for a week

What's Inside

Make Your AI Think Like You, 2026 Edition (36-page guide)

Ten short modules, from It's Not the Tool to Your 7-Day Build. What goes in each file, how to build all nine by talking instead of typing, how to load them into any AI, and how to correct it so it sounds more like you every week.

The My AI Brain Kit (10 editable files)

A Start Here sheet plus all nine files ready to fill in. You're not starting from a blank page.

Six copy-and-paste prompts

Interview: your AI asks you one question at a time and writes the file for you

Voice: it studies real samples of how you talk

Start-Up: it reads your files before it does anything

Save: it updates your memory files at the end of every session

Correct: it fixes what doesn't sound like you and logs it so it sticks

Filter: it checks everything it writes against your banned-words list

The 7-Day Build

One finished win every day. On Day 1 you save a BEFORE sample. On Day 7 you run the same test and put them side by side.

Loading instructions for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini

Projects, GPTs and Gems, plus a start-up prompt that works in any AI that reads a document.

Who's Behind It

I'm not a tech guy who grew up on computers. I learned the trades hands-on and worked hazmat. I ran my own construction company in Colorado, and I had to close it down. An injury put me in the hospital and ended my construction career for good.

I taught myself AI at 53, building my own business with it one mistake at a time. For months my AI didn't sound anything like me. I'd explain my business on Monday, and on Tuesday it had no idea who I was.

So I built this system to fix it. It now runs underneath everything I do: my content, my products, my follow-up.

Gen X Still Standing. Built by a Gen Xer with AI, for Gen Xers.

Straight Talk

This isn't magic and it isn't software. It's nine files and a little work on your part.

Your AI won't be perfect on Day 1. The first week it'll still miss sometimes. The whole system is built around what you do next: you correct it, the correction gets logged, and it stops making that mistake.

And I'll be straight with you about this edition. The first version was a long 16-lesson workbook, and it didn't work as well as I wanted. I kept catching my own gaps and fixing them until it did. This is the tightened-up version of what's running on my computer today.

Done-for-you AI voice services charge $500 to $2,500 to build something like this for you. This is the do-it-yourself version, with the interview prompt doing the heavy lifting.

FAQ

I'm not a tech guy. Can I do this?

Yes. There's no code. The Interview prompt asks you questions one at a time and writes the files for you. You talk into the mic, it types.

Which AI does it work with?

Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or anything that can read a document. The files are yours, so switching tools doesn't mean starting over.

How long does it take?

About 20 to 30 minutes a day for 7 days. Miss a day, pick up where you left off.

Is this just another prompt pack?

No. It has six prompts, but they're the tools that build and keep your files current. The files are the product.

What format is it?

A 36-page PDF guide plus a zip of 10 editable files. Instant download after checkout.

Is my information safe?

You decide what goes in your files and which AI you use. The guide tells you never to store passwords, bank or card numbers, or other people's private information, and to read your AI tool's privacy settings first.

P.S. Everybody is using the same AI right now. The only edge left is how well yours knows you. Nine files. Seven days. Same tool as everybody else, nothing like everybody else.
