A printable birthday murder mystery party game for 6 to 10 players, with video-guided rounds so the host can play along too.
Make a wish. Blow out the candles. Then find out who made sure the birthday guest of honor never saw another one.
Ten suspects. One snowbound country house. A candlelit birthday wish. A body in the library.
A party they'll never forget, perfect for adult birthday parties, milestone birthdays, winter dinner parties, cozy cabin weekends and game nights.
Hosting a bigger crowd? The 10-20 player version of this same mystery is also in the shop.
THE STORY
Bellweather House, 1934. A winter storm has closed the road, and Rowan Bellweather's fiftieth birthday guests are gathered beneath the old family portraits. At 9:58 the house lights lower for the candle wish. At 10:04 they come back up. At 10:18, Rowan is found in the library. Someone at that birthday table had a reason to keep the estate books closed for good.
TURN ANY BIRTHDAY INTO THE MAIN EVENT
The birthday guest can play Rowan, the host of the party, or the whole group can simply play along. Either way, the evening has a built-in toast, a candle wish and a mystery to solve.
THE HOST CAN PLAY TOO
You don't need to know the killer. The solution stays sealed until every vote is in, so the host plays along with everyone else.
VIDEO-GUIDED PLAY: SCAN THE QR. WATCH HOW TO PLAY. NO RULEBOOK.
Scan the QR code in your kit to open a private video page made only for this game. A short "How to Play" video explains the night. Then the narrator runs the party: press play for the welcome, the body discovery, each of the three rounds, the vote and the killer's confession.
Playing on a computer or TV instead? Every QR code has a short web address printed beside it. Type it into any browser and the same videos open.
